ABOUT THE SHOW
When Rose and Harry meet on a date, they uncover something unique that they have in common: they’re both serial killers.
Buried is an unconventional love story, a tale of friendship found where you’d least expect that explores the line between good and evil, normal and monstrous. With hilarious dark comedy and catchy, soulful folk, this musical demonstrates how love is unique to everyone and illuminates the darkness in us all.
Buried was first presented in 2017, in CToo at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival following previews at DINA Venue, Sheffield. After winning the National Student Drama Festival Edinburgh Award, Buried toured to Curve, Leicester, and Pleasance, Islington, winning the Cameron Mackintosh Award and a Spotlight Most Promising Actor for Lindsay Manion's performance at the 2018 National Student Drama Festival.
Following this success, the show returned to Theatre Deli, Sheffield, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, running in Ermintrude, Underbelly. Buried has since toured internationally to the International Musical Theatre Festival of Brno in the Czech Republic, and the writers also took this production of the show to the New York Musical Theatre Festival in America.
