ABOUT US

Colla Voce is an award-winning theatre company, forged in Sheffield, that specialises in new musical theatre and comedy. We've had our work featured on the BBC, were selected for the Developed With artist development scheme at the Lowry, and have recorded a soundtrack that has amassed tens of thousands of streams on Spotify.

Our first original piece, Buried, opened to a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, before transferring to Pleasance London, The Curve Leicester, and being selected for international musical theatre festivals in the Czech Republic and New York, gaining numerous five star reviews and awards to date.

Following on from this success, a second collaboration with writers Tom Williams and Cordelia O’Driscoll resulted in You And I: A New Musical, a touching comedy about love, loss and a robot called Robert. With previous runs at the Edinburgh Fringe (Underbelly) and York Theatre Royal, the show was due to transfer to The Other Palace and The Lowry in 2020, before necessary restrictions forced us to postpone.

Colla Voce have also begun to expand into stand-up comedy. Working closely with emerging comic Karam Deo and producing his first Edinburgh Fringe show Table For One; a foray into the dating struggles of a gay Punjabi man.
